Our floor perch ends are made from sturdy box steel and zinc coated for longevity. They are designed to snugly grip a 2x1 batten, so you can create a sturdy perch of the length you need.
 
Especially designed by Heritage Hen Huts to ensure the happiness and comfort of your flock, and at just 185mm above the ground, it is particularly good for larger or less agile chickens who might not have the strength to reach the higher perches, or for smaller breeds who prefer to roost closer to the ground. It also serves as a valuable aid for hens with injuries, or those low in the pecking order, ensuring they have a safe and accessible resting spot.
