DAMAGE IN TRANSIT​

​We use couriers across the UK, who will ensure that your product will reach you in perfect condition. 

All costs associated with your delivery are stated at time of order and are included in the charge.

If in the unlikely event that when you receive your product from the courier, and there is any damage to the exterior of the packaging please follow the below procedure:

• Advise the courier and ensure they make a record of this and take pictures of the damaged packaging.

• Open the packaging and inspect for any damage to the product, ensuring you take photographs of the damage.

• Notify us within 24 hours by sending an email to hello@heritagehenhuts.co.uk detailing the courier, the damage along with the photographs.  Please ensure that we have your contact details.

• We will then get in touch with you to establish the best cause of action.

• In the event that you will need to return the product to us and it is proven that the damage has been caused by the courier, there will be no charge for the return to you, and we will replace the damaged item free of charge.

 

RETURN POLICY

If within 14 days you decide to return your product to us for any other reason than it being proven to be faulty due to the manufacturing process, the return will be at your expense, and we will refund you the amount you have paid, minus all administration, restocking, and accountancy fees.  Please ask for details prior to purchasing if you are concerned.  The product will need to be returned to us in its original packaging, unused, free of any marks and scratches and in a resellable condition.

WARRANTY POLICY

Our Shepherd Hut Hen house is subject to a 2 year warranty as stated within the warranty terms below.

All EGGTOPIA nest boxes come with a standard 1 year warranty as stated in the warranty terms below.

The ChickenGuard All in One Chicken Coop Door comes with the standard manufacturers warranty of 2 years which may be upgraded to 3 years upon registration of the product.  Full warranty terms and conditions can be found here: Warranty Information - ChickenGuard.

 

EGGTOPIA NEST BOX ONE YEAR WARRANTY

Our warranty gives you replacement parts for the first year of your product's long life as the original owner only.  Your EGGTOPIA Nest Box is covered from the day it reaches you, and you don't need to do anything to receive the cover, we have your back.

​If in the unlikely event you have an issue, email hello@heritagehenhuts.co.uk with details and photos which will help us to identify the issue and propose a resolution. This way we can ensure you have happy hens again as quickly as possible.

​As our nest boxes are easily dismantled, we may send you a replacement part which we will ask you to fit. 

The warranty covers your product from any defects in the materials used and our workmanship during manufacturing process which stop it working as it has been designed to do.

​In reality, if something happens to the product outside of our control, like it being crushed, dropped, forced in some way, curtains torn or ripped, you will need to pay for the repairs. We will always try and be helpful and provide spares at cost.

​Obviously as all things, standard wear and tear is not covered by the warranty. As an example the below gives you an idea of the things we won’t cover and that will void your warranty:

​Damage caused when you dismantle /reassemble the product.

Damage caused by fitting.

Damage from any misuse, any alterations or modifications.

Damage caused by accidents, third parties, farm or wild animals, pets, weather, acts of god or other natural events.

SHEPHERD HUT HEN HOUSE TWO YEAR WARRANTY

Our warranty gives you replacement parts for the first 2 years of your product's long life as the original owner.  Your hut is covered from the day it reaches you, and you don't need to do anything to receive the cover, we have your back.

​As our hut is easily dismantled, we may send you a replacement part which we will ask you to fit.
